Meet the Team


  • Founder / Producer/ Director/ Writer

    Rebecca McNamee is an award-winning Australian writer, director, producer, and performer whose work spans stage and screen across both Australia and the United States. Known for her ability to navigate drama, comedy, and action with equal precision, she crafts emotionally resonant, character-driven stories that are both artistically distinctive and grounded in performance truth.

    A graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art’s MFA (Directing) program, Rebecca’s directing style is marked by emotional clarity, bold visual language, and a collaborative approach that brings out nuanced, layered performances. Her most recent stage work, Abigail Williams, premiered at Sydney Theatre Company’s Wharf 2 Theatre as part of the 2025 HerStory Arts Festival and was met with critical acclaim.

    Her screen work includes a slate of award-winning short films that have screened internationally at top-tier festivals including LA Shorts, NY Shorts, Flickerfest, the Chicago International Shorts, and the California Music Video Awards

    Rebecca began her performance career in musical theatre, growing up in a family of performers and developing a deep love of ensemble storytelling, comic rhythm, and live audience connection. She trained in classical voice under Maree Ryan at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and later studied performance and writing at Chicago’s iconic Second City, performing at theatres throughout the city.

    In addition to her creative work, Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Commerce and postgraduate degrees in Economics. Her early career in corporate and SME marketing informs her producing practice, giving her a sharp understanding of audience development, financial strategy, and the realities of delivering ambitious creative work within viable production models.

    Rebecca currently has a number of stage and screen projects in development and continues to build a body of work that champions bold, contemporary storytelling with both heart and bite.

Ebony Tucker, Producer, Sydney

    Ebony is an Australian actor and creative based in Sydney, with roots by the ocean in regional Victoria. Fresh from graduation at NIDA she toured the country as Hush in Possum Magic with Monkey Baa Theatre Co., a role that allowed her to bring the magic of theatre back to regional communities.

    After a sold-out season at NIDA’s Festival of Emerging Artists in 2023, Ebony revisits the hauntingly beautiful story of Abigail Williams as part of the HERStory Art Festival in 2025. Ebony's credits while training at NIDA include; ‘Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play’ (dir. Alex Berlage), ‘Perfect Stranger’ by Hilary Bell (dir. Kate Champion), ‘A View from the Bridge’ (dir. Ed Wightman), ‘A Midsummer Nights Dream’ (dir. Sean Stewart), and ‘The Cherry Orchard’ (dir. Jeremy James.) Ebonys credits also include 'Forgotten' at Parramatta Riverside (dir. Madeline Diggins), 'Attempts on Her Life' at KXT (dir. Saro Lusty-Cavallari) & 'The Comedy of Errors' with the Australian Shakespeare Company. (dir. Kevin Hopkins. A passionate advocate for greater representation of disabled voices in the arts, Ebony is dedicated to creating more inclusive, accessible spaces for disabled artists like herself. She is also an established voiceover artist, finding joy in bringing stories to life both in the booth, on stage and on screen.
